Alex Jones is Now Defaming Private Citizens and Has Stopped Caring

Months ago I wrote a piece explaining why Alex Jones does not defame private citizens when it comes to conspiracy theories and only sticks the government officials. You can read that here. Now it seems that no longer seems to be the case.
I mentioned how a few times a private citizen did in fact get defamed such as Pizzagate and Chobani  Yogurt. They seemed like a slip. I mean Pizzagate did involve government officials but Jones crossed the legal line when he said the pizzeria itself was in on this child sex trafficking ring that didn’t exist. This followed with an apology from Jones after someone fired a gun inside the pizzeria to self investigate the claim he says he heard from InfoWars. Chobani Yogurt involved private citizens only. In a attempt to sensationalize his xenophobic side it seemed this one slipped too.  Now recently it seems to be part of an ongoing trend indicating that Alex Jones has stopped caring.

I’ve long thought that Alex Jones is a very calculating con man with the stories he pushes and conspiracy theories. I mean you can’t really come up with a more sensational and interesting conspiracy involving (private citizens only) if you tried. Not without legal repercussions if you stretched the truth. Is that why Jones avoided defaming private citizens for decades?  I don’t believe so. I’m sure he thought anti-government activism was much more fun and just happened to not go down that road with accusing and defaming private citizens of horrific deeds. It probably still a mix of him knowingly lying and him really believing what he says.

Recent news has indicated that is changing. The most recent defamation lawsuits involve Jones falsely identifying someone as the Parkland shooter. Another involves the man who videoed the Charlottesville car attack who Jones claimed was working as a Deep State operative. Now Jones did take down the article falsely identifying the Parkland shooter but the damage was already done. It seems to be a case of him correcting a stupid mistake given the gullible buffoon that he is.

Now what is causing this trend of him defaming private citizens. Overall I’d say it’s just Jones becoming more and more reckless with what comes out of his mouth. He’s gotten bigger and more successful over the years and he may start to think he’s become invincible with his narcissistic personality disorder. He got the freaking future President of the United States on his show. That’s probably the most successful thing he’s ever done. However with his YouTube channel getting community standard strikes, his divorce with his wife speaking out, and these latest lawsuits, it may come to an end with him reaching a breaking point. We are beginning to see the end of Alex Jones at his peak. But not the end of Alex Jones himself. He will still have a part of what he’s built today. But the rest maybe coming down like a ton of bricks.
