Milo Yiannopoulos Loves Alex Jones... Like A lot

So I watched Milo Yiannopoulos interview Alex Jones which was posted to his YouTube channel.  I have a few thoughts and would like to point out some highlights about it.

The whole thing was a softball interview. If anyone saw the unfavorable side of Alex Jones and then they saw this interview, it would not convince them to change their view of him. That's because Milo pretended all the things Alex Jones is most known for simply don't exist. It was breathtakingly absent. Like I don't know... that he's pretty much the founder of the 9/11 was an inside job movement. The whole interview was mainly about anti-political correctness and how Trump and his followers are winning. There were a few things Jones revealed about his personal life that were interesting. That's if you want to watch the whole thing because it's really long and it's throughout the whole interview. Both Milo and Jones made several vague references in order to back up what they claim to be true. They just did it so much it's impossible to go through every one.  Also worthy to note  is that Milo has been on the Alex Jones show several times.

Here are some:

I thought I'd point out my favorite parts in the interview along with the time marks in the video so you can see for yourself what was in that video. My favorite part is at the very bottom listed last.

8:00 Milo says there's an injustice to how Alex Jones is portrayed in the media. Throughout the video Milo says he and Jones have that in common.  That sympathetic attachment Milo shows to Jones is throughout the whole interview.

10:35 Milo believes Alex Jones is sincere in what he believes.

25:20 Milo says Alex Jones gets things right about a remarkable amount of things. I know broken clock is right twice a day but what is he talking about?

26:20 Milo says he disagrees with Jones on some things. That he says things that aren't right. But wouldn't say what.

27:30  Milo acknowledges that President Trump listens to Alex Jones. He also suggested Jones helped him get elected.

28:40 The hoax Pizzagate came up in which Milo promoted and stopped talking about once a gunman broke into the pizzeria that was at the center of the conspiracy theory.  We all know you can't defame private citizens without legal consequences. Jones spun his involvement the controversy. He still stuck to his guns accusing Democrats of running this secret child sex ring. But made no mention of the private citizen and business owner he defamed. He later had to apologize to avoid a lawsuit.

34:40  Milo says he doesn't believe Jones deliberately lies to viewers because Jones is so sincere.

37:00 Jones says he's not playing a character as his lawyer suggested and his child custody hearing. He claimed that was only in reference to when he did his dressed as the joker segment. Just funny how that explanation is just now coming out now.

44:45  Both Milo and Jones still believe in the Seth Rich conspiracy theory. That idea that a murdered DNC staffer is connected to DNC email dump.

47:40 Both Milo and Jones believe in the Clinton Body Count conspiracy theory.

53:00 This is probably my favorite part. Milo just sits there and listens as Alex Jones says Trump should fire Robert Mueller and the government is planning to kill Trump. Lastly he said that there's this army of government hit men with over 100,000 in total spread out in every town in the United States ready to strike when given orders. Wow. That literally explains every government conspiracy Alex Jones has ever made in his life.  He must really have a case if that's true.  Absolutely anything is possible now. You can't rule anything out anymore.

Its because of Milo's love affair with the conspiratorial fringe such as Alex Jones that I am now putting him under my radar in fighting conspiracy theories and those who promote them.
