Why Alex Jones Will Survive Without YouTube

Many have suggested including me that if Alex Jones will not have the free YouTube video uploading and storage he will have to pay for it himself. This will be expensive and probably drain him financially. But as it turns out this is not the case.
YouTube hasn't banned Jones himself from uploading videos. It just might his channel that he's operating. His videos had several community standard violations which included him harassing and bullying minors of the Parkland school shooting. Now could YouTube ban Alex Jones for life and restrict him from using their service? The Internet is not a public utility so the answer is yes. YouTube has banned individuals from ever posting or creating new channels. If Alex Jones didn't make the permanent ban list, he can just start another channel and not commit community standard violations again. It's not that hard. Just don't do it again. Probably 99% of his videos comply with YouTube community standards.

What's not being mentioned is that there are thousands of YouTube channels that re-upload his videos. And Jones encourages that. It's an info war and sharing his content is part of it. As long as the videos fit community standards they will stay up and those channels will survive. If Jones is a smart businessman he might coordinate with these third-party channels that re-upload his videos. It's not like YouTube will ban all of Alex Jones's videos that are re-uploaded by other channels. That's impossible, impractical, and just dumb. Because like I said the content might be dumb and abhorrent but not in violation of YouTube's community standards.

Also people keep saying that this is a violation of the First Amendment. No it's not. The First Amendment protects you from government sanctions and absolutely nothing else. Not from your boss who fires you for something you posted on Facebook. Not from a book company that doesn't want to publish your book. Not from people who say your art is ugly. And not from public scorn and mockery when do you say that the Sandy Hook Massacre was fake and a hoax  People seem surprised when people have been sanctioned by business or by other people when it comes to their speech. Well newsflash, this has been the case since the First Amendment was written. Learn basic government civics.
